The GL Chart of Accounts Report screen is divided into two sections; System Parameters and User Parameters. In the System Parameters section, the user must specify details for the format of the report; in the User Parameters section, the user must specify details pertaining to the content of the report. Report Description

The GL Chart of Accounts Report allows the user to produce a listing of all General Ledger Accounts, providing the user with a "visual" of the GL structure. Accounts are grouped as to their type (i.e. Income, Expense, Liabilities, Assets, etc.), and for each account, the account name and account description is displayed. The report output can be generated into an Excel spreadsheet file, or in the same manner as most other reports (i.e. format selected in the System Parameters section). When generating an Excel file, the user must specify the full path and file name (i.e. c:\My Documents\Sample_GL_Chart_Accounts.xls). Keep in mind that this report can be generated in the manner selected in the System Parameters section AND generated to an Excel file at the same time; there is no need to run the report twice if the user wishes to have Excel output in addition to output in another format.

User Parameters
